ACT Policing has released a face-fit image of a man who has been linked through DNA analysis to two alleged assault incidents in the Theodore area.
On 1 March 2025, police received a report of an alleged attempted sexual assault after a woman was grabbed from behind by the man, while she was running in the Tuggeranong Hill Nature Reserve.
In a second incident on 24 February 2026, the man allegedly approached and physically interacted with a child near the Theodore playing fields, near Ern Florence Crescent.
Following further enquiries, investigators have now linked the man to both incidents through DNA analysis. A face-fit image is also being released today in an effort to identify the man.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a tall and slender build, brown curly hair, and a beard. At the time of the February incident, he was wearing black jeans and a shirt featuring printed artwork or patterns, with red and orange on one side and green and blue on the other.
Police are urging anyone who can identify the man to come forward. Investigators are also urging the man to present himself at the nearest police station.
