Police seeking witnesses to alleged assault

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an alleged assault committed against a runner yesterday morning.

About 7.20am (Saturday, 1 March 2025), a woman was running in the Tuggeranong Hill Nature Reserve when she was grabbed from behind by a man.

The woman was able to break free from the man’s hold and run away before calling police.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance in his late 20’s to early 30’s, with brown shoulder-length hair, and was wearing a black t-shirt with a white stripe, long tan pants and ‘Vans’ shoes.

At the time of the incident, the male also had a black electric scooter with him.
