Taskforce Invidia

Taskforce Invidia has been formed to track, disrupt and arrest members of organised crime groups, including OMCGs involved in criminal activities across the ACT. Invidia works with partners through a joint law enforcement initiative, National Taskforce Morpheus, to tackle the growing criminal threat posed by OMCGs across Australia.

Taskforce Invidia works with its partners, including ACT Policing’s Community Safety portfolio, to identify opportunities to divert vulnerable members of the community from OMCG membership

ACT Policing is urging members of the community to support the police effort by reporting suspicious or criminal behaviour of OMCGs to Crime Stoppers including:

  • drugs
  • firearms
  • extortion

  • sex industry
  • security industry

You could be eligible for a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to successful prosecution involving criminal gangs, or the recovery of weapons or drugs connected to criminal gang activity.
