A 36-year-old Kambah man has been arrested in relation to drug trafficking and multiple weapons charges following a search warrant yesterday.
As part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the ACT by Taskforce Invidia, police executed a search warrant on the man's Kambah residence about 4:30pm yesterday (Thursday, 1 October 2026).
With assistance from the AFP Tactical Response Team, police located and seized multiple items including:
- Numerous weapons including two machetes, a tomahawk axe, three tasers, two batons, a set of knuckledusters and various bladed weapons
- Approximately 35 grams of a crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine
- Two vials of clear liquid suspected to be steroids
- Clothing and paraphernalia relating to the Comanchero OMCG
The man was charged with six counts of possessing a prohibited weapon without authorisation and one count of traffic in controlled drug other than cannabis.
He is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Friday, 2 October 2026).
