A 36-year-old Wamboin (NSW) woman has been charged with possessing child abuse material after imagery was located at a photo printing business.
On Wednesday afternoon (27 May 2026) a woman allegedly attempted to print imagery at a Belconnen photo printing service.
Due to a malfunction of the machinery, the woman was refunded her payment and left the store. Soon after, staff at the store allegedly identified multiple child exploitation images that had failed to print.
Police were contacted and after conducting enquiries, a vehicle was stopped in Holt yesterday afternoon (Friday, 29 May 2026). A 36-year woman from Wamboin was subsequently arrested and charged with one count of aggravated possession of child exploitation material. She is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Saturday, 30 May 2026).
Investigations into this matter are continuing.

Each photograph captures an actual situation where a child has been abused. This is not ‘pornography”.
