Witnesses sought to motorcycle collision in Oaks Estate

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a motorcycle collision in Oaks Estate last night where a man was hospitalised.

About 9:20pm (Thursday, 14 May 2026), police and emergency services were called to Railroad Street after an injured man was found sitting on the side of the road.

A blue Suzuki GSR750 was located in a drainage channel nearby.

Police believe the motorcycle was involved in a collision near the intersection of Oaks Estate Road and Railway Street before continuing along Railroad Street and eventually coming to a stop in the channel.

The man was treated at the scene by witnesses and ACT Ambulance Service paramedics before being transported to hospital to undergo further treatment for his injuries.

Anyone who witnessed or has dash-cam footage of the blue Suzuki travelling in the Queanbeyan or Oaks Estate area around 9pm last night is asked to come forward.
