ACT Policing has arrested two men and seized multiple weapons as part of a national day of action targeting the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang.
About 4:30am yesterday (Thursday, 5 March 2026), ACT Policing officers, with assistance from AFP Tactical Response, conducted two search warrants on homes in Kambah and Evatt.
In Evatt, police seized multiple items including a gel blaster firearm, knuckle dusters, and a machete. Officers also seized clothing related to an aggravated burglary committed at a home in Curtin in June last year.
A 43-year-old Evatt man was arrested at the residence and faced the ACT Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday, 5 March 2026), charged with aggravated burglary, as well as weapons and firearms possession offences.
In Kambah, officers seized multiple knives and machetes, as well as a large amount of ammunition.
A third search warrant was executed yesterday afternoon in Turner where police located a trafficable amount of methamphetamine, knuckle dusters and an extendable baton.
A 31-year-old man, who was subject to good behaviour obligations, was arrested and faced court today (Friday, 6 March 2026) charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited weapon and trafficking in controlled drug.
Both men have affiliations with the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang.
Enquiries remain ongoing and further charges may be laid.
