ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a serious assault on Bunda Street in Canberra City last month.
About 6:00am on Sunday, 22 February 2026, a man allegedly punched another man in the face multiple times, knocking out several teeth.
The man then chased the victim along Bunda Street before the victim escaped by jumping into a taxi.
He then allegedly assaulted a second man who was nearby before leaving the area.
The offender is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, with dark facial hair. He was wearing a white baseball cap, a green t-shirt, white shorts and white sneakers at the time of the incident.
Police would like to speak to second man who was assaulted, or anyone who witnessed the incidents.
