Police seeking witnesses to collision between car and motorbike

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a collision between a car and motorcycle in Belconnen last night.

About 6:15pm (Friday, 6 March 2026), police and emergency services were called to a collision between a grey Ford Territory and a black Yamaha MT09 at the intersection of Eastern Valley Way and Hennessy Street, Bruce.

The rider of the motorcycle was treated at the scene by witnesses and ACT Ambulance Service paramedics before being transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed or has dashcam footage of the collision, or the vehicles travelling in the lead up to the collision, to come forward.
