A 45-year-old Kambah man will face court after allegedly breaking into his neighbour’s home and strangling him early this morning.
About 4:30am (Wednesday, 24 June 2026), the man allegedly broke into his neighbour’s garage after yelling threats and banging on the windows and doors.
When the neighbour attempted to lock the door, the man pushed his way into the home and grabbed the other man before strangling him.
The man then left the residence and the neighbour contacted police.
Officers located the 45-year-old man at his nearby residence and he was arrested.
He will face the ACT Magistrates Court today charged with choking/suffocating/strangling another person, affray, trespass, and property damage.
