Seeking to identify man following theft and assault

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man following a theft and assault in Woden earlier this month.

About 3:15pm on Saturday 4 July, the man entered a sunglasses store in Woden and allegedly took multiple pairs of sunglasses.

The man then allegedly assaulted a store employee who confronted him before exiting the store.

Following enquiries, police are now seeking to identify the man allegedly involved in the incident.

The man was wearing brown shoes, black pants, a black jacket with a grey hoodie underneath and a black cap at the time of the incident.
