A 42-year-old Conder man will face the ACT Magistrates Court following the execution of multiple search warrants across Canberra's south yesterday (Friday, 17 July 2026).
The arrest follows an extensive ACT Policing investigation under Operation CAMPANIA, an intelligence-led operation targeting the supply of illicit drugs within the ACT.
Police will allege the man was involved in the trafficking of cocaine and the accumulation of assets derived from the proceeds of crime.
At about 6am yesterday, ACT Policing officers executed multiple search warrants across the Tuggeranong region.
During the warrants, police seized quantities of illicit drugs, cash, a firearm, firearms-related items, and a range of electronic devices.
Police also seized a number of vehicles and other high-value assets under proceeds of crime legislation, including utility vehicles, motorcycles, watches, and jewellery.
He will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Saturday, 18 July 2026) charged with drug trafficking, dealing with proceeds of crime worth $50,000 or more, possessing a prohibited firearm, and possessing ammunition.
Operation CAMPANIA commenced in April 2025 and has focused on disrupting organised criminal activity linked to the supply of illicit drugs in the ACT.
ACT Policing Detective Acting Inspector David Crowe said the operation demonstrates the ongoing commitment of police to target those who profit from the sale of illicit drugs in the ACT.
"Criminals involved in the trafficking of illicit drugs cause significant harm to our community," Detective Acting Inspector Crowe said.
"This result highlights ACT Policing's determination not only to remove dangerous drugs from our streets, but also to target the profits and assets derived from criminal offending.
"We will continue to identify, disrupt and prosecute those involved in organised crime and drug trafficking across the ACT."
