A 39-year-old man has been charged with multiple family violence offences following his repeated alleged breaching of bail and family violence court orders.

In September (2025) a Special Interim Family Violence Order was issued by the court and in November (2025) the man received bail conditions in the ACT Magistrates Court.

Police will allege the man committed multiple offences against his former partner and breached those court orders.

Yesterday (Wednesday, 28 January 2026), officers from the Domestic and Family Violence Investigations Unit attended a residence and arrested the 39-year-old. He was charged with four counts of aggravated common assault, property damage, three counts of contravening a family violence order, using a carriage service to menace or harass and breach of bail. He is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Thursday, 29 January 2026).

ACT Policing stands ready to assist victims experiencing family violence.
