Woman charged with multiple counts of theft

A 27-year-old Phillip woman will face court today after allegedly stealing from a petrol station in Mawson on a dozen occasions.

From December (2025) to February (2026), the woman entered a Mawson petrol station 12 times and each time she allegedly stole a range of items. The total value of the items was more than $700.

About 9:50pm yesterday (Thursday, 19 February 2026), police located the woman in Phillip where she was arrested and taken into custody.

The woman, who was subject to bail conditions, will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Friday, 20 February 2026), charged with 12 counts of minor theft.
