A 38-year-old Braddon woman will face court after allegedly being caught drug driving while disqualified and with drugs in the vehicle.

In December (2025), police conducted a search of the woman’s car in Greenway after it was suspected to have been involved in drug trafficking.

A search of the vehicle revealed several bags of a white crystalline substance which were seized for further forensic testing.

Following the outcome of forensic testing, police stopped another vehicle driven by the woman on Parkes Way on Saturday evening.

Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located multiple bags of a white crystalline substance, suspected of being methylamphetamine.

The woman, who was subject to parole conditions and whose NSW licence was disqualified, was charged with offences including drug trafficking, driving with a prescribed drug in oral fluid, and possessing a drug of dependence.

She is due to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Monday, 9 February 2026).
