ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to indecent exposure acts that occurred last night in Tuggeranong.
About 5:40pm yesterday (Monday, 23 February 2026), police attended the South.Point shopping centre in Tuggeranong following reports of a man allegedly committing indecent acts in front of adults and children.
Police located the man shortly after and placed him under arrest.
The man, a 49-year-old from Ainslie, was charged with act of indecency in the presence of a person under 16 years and offensive behaviour while in view of a public place. He faced the ACT Magistrates Court today (Tuesday, 24 February 2026).
Investigators are seeking any witnesses to the alleged indecent acts who have not already spoken to police to come forward.
