ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage of two stolen vehicles being driven in the ACT yesterday.

Yesterday morning (Thursday, 26 February 2026), police received reports that two stolen vehicles, a silver Toyota Corolla with Victorian registration 1ZM5LD and a black Range Rover SUV with NSW registration BRARI, were in the ACT.

The Range Rover was later observed on Belconnen Way and when police attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver sped away.

The driver continued to drive dangerously, weaving through traffic at speed and driving at police. At an intersection near Coombs, the Range Rover pushed another vehicle out of the way to avoid police.

The Range Rover was last seen in Belconnen and the Toyota was later recovered in Dunlop.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed or has dashcam footage of the Toyota or Range Rover being driven in Canberra to come forward.

If anyone observes the Range Rover, please do not approach the vehicle, instead call police on 131 444.

Anyone who can assist police should provide their contact details to Crime Stoppers via the Crime Stoppers ACT website, quoting 8313966. Information can be provided anonymously.
