Man charged with sexually assaulting former partner

A 24-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted his former partner on two occasions.

Police will allege the man had non-consensual intercourse with his former partner while she was intoxicated, once in 2024 and once in 2025.

The incidents were reported to police and yesterday, the man was arrested by the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team at his home in Macgregor.

He will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Thursday, 26 February 2026), charged with two counts of reckless sexual intercourse without consent.
