A 39-year-old Cook man has been charged after allegedly stalking a Lyneham couple at their home and workplace.
Police will allege that the man, who is not known to the couple, has attended the home of the couple on four occasions over the past three months allegedly leaving notes containing false information, on one occasion pretending to be an arborist.
It is alleged that he would remain outside the residence after leaving the notes for some time, watching the house.
The man has also allegedly attended the husband’s workplace and where he has allegedly stayed in the carpark watching as the husband returned to his vehicle.
About 10.30am yesterday (Sunday, 15 February 2026) police attended a residence in Cook where they arrested the man.
He will face the ACT Magistrates Court today charged with two counts of stalking.
