ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage following a police pursuit involving a black BMW sedan through several Tuggeranong suburbs overnight.
About 9:30pm last night (Monday, 10 August 2026), police conducting patrols in Richardson observed a black BMW sedan bearing stolen NSW number plates CTN85T travelling at excessive speed on Clift Crescent.
Police directed the driver to pull over but they failed to stop, speeding and driving dangerously near other vehicles through Richardson, Isabella Plains and Calwell.
Officers deployed tyre deflation devices and the vehicle was later located abandoned in Chisholm.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed or who may have dash-cam footage of the black BMW sedan being driven in the Tuggeranong area between 9:20pm and 10pm last night to come forward.
