ACT Policing is seeking witnesses following the alleged assault of a young female at the City bus interchange earlier this month.
About 7:40pm on Saturday 15 August (2026), a group of young females allegedly approached and assaulted a young girl near the Platform 4 bus stop on Alinga Street in the City.
It is alleged the victim was pushed from behind before being punched.
Police believe several members of the public witnessed the incident and intervened. Police are urging anyone who saw the assault, particularly those who assisted the victim, to come forward.
Police are also seeking any mobile phone or other video footage of the incident.
