ACT Policing is seeking dash cam footage after a stolen Porsche Cayenne was involved in a series of dangerous driving incidents across Canberra’s south yesterday
About 3:45am on Monday (10 August 2026), a white Porsche Cayenne SUV was stolen from a residence in Forrest after offenders entered the home and stole the vehicle's keys.
Later that evening, at about 8:55pm, the vehicle was involved in a petrol drive-off at a service station in Hawker.
About 1:20am on Tuesday (11 August 2026), the Porsche was observed travelling at high speed on Sulwood Drive, Kambah.
Later that day, at about 1:50pm, police observed the stolen vehicle on Long Gully Road travelling towards the Monaro Highway. Police activated their emergency lights and sirens and directed the vehicle to stop but the driver refused, engaging in dangerous driving behaviours and repeatedly attempted to evade police.
The vehicle was later located abandoned in Toole Place, Kambah. Several people were seen running from the area before officers arrived.
Enquiries into the identity of the driver and occupants are ongoing.
