Man charged with sexual assault

An 18-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman last month.

In July (2026), the man allegedly sexually assaulted a woman known to him at her home.

The incident was reported to police and yesterday (Thursday, 20 August 2026), officers from ACT Policing's Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team executed a search warrant at a residential facility in Campbell.

The 18-year-old man was arrested and will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Friday, 21 August 2026), charged with three counts of sexual intercourse without consent, and one count of act of indecency without consent.
