Police seeking to identify man and locate 4WD

ACT Policing is seeking information on a Toyota Landcruiser 4WD ute and its male driver after a collision on the Barton Highway yesterday.

About 3:00pm yesterday (Thursday, 25 September 2025), a white Toyota Landcruiser tray back utility, that had Victorian registration FPX351 at the time, failed to stop after a collision on the Barton Highway near the Gungahlin Drive overpass.

Police believe that the vehicle may have also been involved in a previous attempted burglary incident in Phillip on Tuesday (23 September 2025) and that the driver of the vehicle may be changing the licence plates. At the time of the attempted burglary it was observed with NSW registration 59644J.
