A 33-year-old Ngunnawal man has been issued a $700 fine and incurred four demerit points after he was caught driving 43km/h over the speed limit yesterday.
About 2:20pm yesterday (Thursday, 4 September 2025), ACT Major Collision Team officers identified a dark grey Kia Stinger sedan that was travelling at 133km/h in a 90km/h zone on Caswell Drive near Aranda.
Officers issued the driver with an infringement notice that included a fine of $700 and four demerit points were incurred.
ACT Policing reminds all drivers that speeding is one of the Fatal Five factors in injury and fatal collisions, and is the cause of a significant portion of all collisions on ACT roads.
