A 37-year-old Greenway man has been charged with family violence offences after he allegedly assaulted his wife and child last night.
About 6.00pm yesterday (Monday 27 October 2025) the 37-year-old man allegedly assaulted his wife.
Their child allegedly witnessed the incident and attempted to intervene. The man has then allegedly physically assaulted the child as well as threatening to strangle and kill her.
The wife intervened and the man allegedly continued to assault the woman.
Later that evening police attended the residence and placed the man under arrest.
He will face the ACT Magistrates Court today charged with three counts of aggravated common assault, , two counts of aggravated reckless threat to kill a person, one count of aggravated reckless threat to inflict Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH), two counts of aggravated assault occasioning Actual Bodily Harm (ABH) and one count of chokes, suffocates, strangles another person
