ACT Policing is seeking dash-cam footage of a blue SUV after a baby was found outside the South Tuggeranong ACT Fire & Rescue Station in Conder yesterday.
About 7:20am yesterday (Thursday, 27 November 2025), police were informed that a newborn baby was found outside the station, which is located at the roundabout of Tharwa Drive and Drakeford Drive.
Following information provided by the public, police now believe a blue SUV type vehicle was at the fire station prior to 7.20am.
Investigators are urging anyone who has dash-cam footage of the fire station on Tharwa Drive and Drakeford Drive between 5:00am and 7:30am on Thursday (27 November 2025) to come forward.
ACT Policing’s sole concern is for the health and welfare of the baby’s mother and efforts are continuing to identify her and provide her with appropriate medical support. She should attend a hospital, ring an ambulance or contact police.
If you think a friend or family member may be the mother – please encourage them to seek medical help as soon as possible.
Anyone who can assist police should provide their details to Crime Stoppers via the Crime Stoppers ACT website, quoting 8228819.
