A 59-year-old NSW man has been extradited to the ACT for sex offences allegedly committed against a young child.

Police will allege the man indecently exposed himself to the child on three separate occasions between 2023 and 2025, as well as showing the child inappropriate videos on his phone.

The incidents were reported to police in August and with assistance from New South Wales Police Force, the man was arrested at his home in Mudgee yesterday morning.

He was extradited to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Saturday, 8 November), charged with three counts of acts of indecency on a child under 10 years and one count of grooming a young person.
