A 30-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault after allegedly refusing to pay a sex worker he met last month.
Police will allege the man arranged for the services of a sex worker in October (2025) but after sex, he refused to pay.
The incident was reported to police and on 5 November, investigators from the ACT Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team executed a search warrant on a residence in Harrison.
The man was no longer living at the premises, breaching his bail conditions.
Yesterday morning (Thursday, 27 November 2025), police conducting patrols in Deakin located the man in a carpark where he was arrested.
The man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Friday, 28 November 2025), charged with reckless sexual intercourse without consent.
