
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a shooting incident that occurred in Scullin yesterday.
At around 9am (Wednesday 21 May) the occupant of a residence in Broadsmith Street in Scullin heard and saw damage to multiple windows at his residence. He reported the damage to his property manager who arranged for the windows to be repaired.
The property manager attended the residence in the afternoon and observed damage believed to be consistent with a firearm being discharged into the residence.
Police attended at about 4.20pm and confirmed the damage was caused by gunshots.
ACT Policing Criminal Investigations and AFP Forensics searched the scene with multiple bullet casings later located nearby.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident yesterday morning including anyone with information about persons possessing unregistered firearms in the area.
