Vehicles seized following street racing in Gungahlin

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses or dash-cam footage of a street racing incident in Gungahlin on the weekend.

About 9:10pm on Sunday (18 May 2025), police conducting patrols in Palmerston observed two Nissan Skylines racing on Gungahlin Drive towards Mitchell.

Officers stopped the two P-plate drivers near the Barton Highway and seized their vehicles. They will also be issued with a $700 infringement and incur three demerit points each.

One of the drivers has previously had their vehicle seized and licence suspended for other driving offences.
