Police seeking witnesses to Tillyard Drive collision

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses or dash-cam footage of a collision between a car and motorcycle on Tillyard Drive last week.

About 9pm (Wednesday, 7 May 2025), police and emergency services received reports of a collision between a black Honda CBR motorcycle and a silver Holden Commodore VE sedan at the intersection of Tillyard Drive and Kerrigan Street in Fraser.

The driver of the Commodore sedan failed to stop and exchange details with the motorcycle rider.

The 19-year-old male motorcyclist was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics before being transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Police are seeking witnesses or dash-cam footage of the silver Holden Commodore VE that may have had ACT registration YHL 33G.

Police later located the Commodore abandoned in Charnwood, it was subsequently seized for forensic examination.

Officers are investigating the circumstances of the collision and urging anyone who witnessed or has dash-cam footage of the incident or the silver Commodore in the West Belconnen District on Wednesday night to contact Crime Stoppers via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
