
ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to identify two boys who allegedly assaulted a man while stealing items from a shop earlier this month.
About 3:30pm on Saturday, 10 May 2025, a group of six young people entered the Westfield in Belconnen.
Two of the boys entered the JB Hi-Fi store and entered an employee-only area before stealing several items.
When they tried to flee, they were stopped by a customer. The boys then allegedly punched the man several times before exiting the store.
The boys are described as Caucasian in appearance, both with short dark hair.
One boy was wearing a black Everlast puffer jacket with a hood, light-coloured pants, grey shoes, and a dark backpack.
The second boy was wearing sunglasses, a black Kathmandu puffer jacket over a grey hoodie and dark shirt, light-coloured pants, white and black shoes, and a dark backpack.
