Police seeking identity of motorcycle rider and passenger following fail to stop

ACT Policing is seeking to identify a motorcycle rider and passenger involved in fail to stop incidents last week.

About 6:15pm on Wednesday (7 May 2025), Road Policing officers conducted a traffic stop on a red Ducati motorcycle with no registration plate on Commonwealth Avenue in Yarralumla.

After initially stopping for police, the rider and pillion passenger rode off at speed and were last seen riding dangerously on Commonwealth Avenue bridge.

Then at about 11:45pm on Saturday night (10 May 2025), Road Policing officers observed the same motorcycle exit Livingston Avenue in Kambah.

Police attempted a traffic stop while on Melrose Drive in Phillip where the rider again failed to stop for police and continued riding dangerously as they fled.

ACT Policing is today releasing images to assist in identifying the rider and passenger involved in the fail to stop incidents. The motorcycle is a red Ducati road bike.
