
Two men have been charged and police are seeking witnesses to a brawl that occurred on Anzac Day at the Gungahlin Lakes Golf and Community Club.
About 6.40pm on Anzac Day (Friday, 25 April 2025) police were called to the Gungahlin Lakes club following reports of a brawl inside the club.
One man received significant facial injuries and multiple people were identified participating in the brawl.
Yesterday (Wednesday, 21 May 2025) officers from Gungahlin Station arrested a 27-year-old Florey man and a 20-year-old Casey man in relation to the incident.
The Florey man was charged with affray and breaching a good behaviour order. The Casey man was charged with affray and breaching an intensive corrections order. Both men are scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today (Thursday, 22 May 2025).
There were multiple witnesses to the incident and police are asking those witnesses to come forward.
