Man charged with historical family violence offences

A 36-year-old man has been charged with historical family violence offences after he was arrested last night.

On Monday (19 May 2025) police attended a residence and spoke with a woman who provided information relating to multiple alleged family violence offences that began in 2022.

Last night (Wednesday, 21 May 2025) police attended the residence of a 36-year-old man and he was subsequently arrested.

He is scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today (Thursday, 22 May 2025) charged with two counts of aggravated common assault, aggravated stalking and an aggravated act of indecency.
