
ACT Policing is seeking dashcam and mobile phone footage following an incident in Dickson yesterday.
About 5:50pm yesterday (20 March 2025), police received multiple reports of a maroon Honda CRV with a black roof storage box bearing ACT registration YPA 32E driving dangerously in Dickson.
Police allege the driver, a 41-year-old woman with a suspended licence, mounted the gutter and drove erratically on footpaths and greenbelts, including near the pool and Café Stepping Stone.
During the time of the incident members of the public were put at significant risk by her driving behaviour.
A short time later, officers located and arrested the woman in Braddon. She was charged with driving whilst suspended and reckless driving. The woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.
Anyone with dashcam or mobile phone footage of the maroon SUV in Dickson yesterday evening is urged to contact police.
