ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage of four vehicles being driven dangerously between 7 and 9 March.

Between Friday, 7 and Saturday, 8 March 2025, a red Volkswagen Golf with ACT registration YKT54U and a white Volkswagen Tiguan with ACT registration YKT64M were stolen from a residence in Turner.

About 9.30am on Saturday, 8 March, the Golf was involved in a collision on Greenway Street, Turner, and the Tiguan was seen driving erratically along Pialligo Avenue that day.

Later that evening, a gold Toyota RAV4 bearing ACT registration YKJ55A towed the Tiguan to the end of George Street in Oaks Estate where it was set on fire.

The gold RAV4 was then observed driving dangerously in Weston and Wright where the driver failed to stop for police several times.

After the gold RAV4 crashed on Anembo Street, Narrabundah, a red Toyota RAV4 with ACT registration YOL50Q was stolen from a nearby residence.

About 9.30am on Sunday, 9 March, a 24-year-old man was located in a parked vehicle on Rosenthal Street in Campbell where he was arrested in relation to incidents that had occurred in NSW in the week prior. The red RAV4 was found abandoned nearby.

All vehicles involved in these matters have now been recovered.

Today, ACT Policing is seeking any witnesses or dash-cam footage of the four vehicles being driven across Canberra.
