Police seek to identify woman after aggravated robbery in Swinger Hill

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and assistance to identify a woman in relation to an aggravated robbery in Swinger Hill last month.

About 8:50pm on Sunday, 16 February 2025, police allege the woman entered the Friendly Grocer and threatened staff with a light brown handgun.  During the incident she demanded money and cigarettes from the teenage supermarket workers.

While no one was physically injured during this incident, it was terrifying for the staff involved.

A short time later the woman fled with a sum of cash and is believed to have departed the location in a white Toyota Corolla hatchback.

The woman police are seeking to identify is described as Caucasian in appearance with blonde hair and blue eyes. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a tan face mask, a black hoodie covering her head, blue denim shorts and white sneakers.

Police would like to speak to anyone who knows who the woman in the footage released today is.

Investigators would also like to speak with anyone who witnessed the event or who was in the vicinity of the Friendly Grocer during the robbery on 16 February.
