
A 28-year old man from Oaks Estate has been charged following an alleged family violence incident in Fyshwick yesterday.
About 6:00pm (Monday, 3 March 2025) police received reports of a man assaulting a female inside a car in the underground carpark at the Canberra Outlet Centre in Fyshwick.
Upon arrival police were informed the alleged offender had fled the scene on foot.
He was located a short time later and subsequently arrested.
The man, who was subject to a good behaviour order at the time of the incident, has been charged with aggravated assault, damaging property, unlawfully possessing stolen property and breaching a good behaviour order. He will face the ACT Magistrate’s Court this morning.
