A 59-year-old man will face court today after allegedly sexually abusing a teenager.
Police allege the man sexually exploited and abused the teenage girl between 2020 and 2025.
In February, police received a report of the alleged abuse and began an investigation.
On 27 February (2025), police executed a search warrant at the man’s home and this morning (Saturday, 1 March 2025), the man was arrested following a second search warrant on his residence.
The man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today, charged with two counts of committing an act of indecency against a young person under special care.
