Woman charged with grooming and sexual assault offences

A 29-year-old Holt woman has been charged with grooming and sexual assault offences following her arrest on Saturday.

In May (2025), police received information relating to the alleged inappropriate relationship between the woman and a 15-year-old boy who she worked with.

On Saturday (31 May 2025), police executed search warrants at the woman’s home and on her vehicle.

She was subsequently arrested and charged with groom a young person, possess child exploitation material, three counts of committing an act of indecency on a young person under 16 and two counts of sexual intercourse with a person aged between 10 and 16.

She is scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today (Monday, 2 June 2025).
