ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage of a suspected road rage incident earlier this month.
About 12:30pm on Saturday, 5 July (2025), two men in a stolen white Toyota HiLux with stolen Queensland registration plates 302YJW stole a trailer from an address in Farrer.
The owner of the trailer witnessed the incident and followed the Hilux in a grey Hyundai i30N.
The Toyota was driven erratically along Athllon Drive, Sulwood Drive and Erindale Drive. During the incident, the occupants of the Toyota began throwing items out of the vehicle at the Hyundai and deliberately reversed the vehicle and trailer into the Hyundai.
The trailer was recovered in Wanniassa a short time later and the Toyota was found in Chisholm on 8 July 2025.
Anyone who witnessed or has dash-cam footage of the Toyota Hilux in Fisher between 7:00am and 12:30pm, or towing a trailer and driving dangerously in Farrer, Fadden and Wanniassa on Saturday afternoon is urged to come forward.
