UPDATE Have you seen Waqas Haider? LOCATED

UPDATE :  Thank you Canberra, the missing 39-year-old man we posted about this morning has been located safe and well.

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing 39-year-old man Waqas Haider.

Waqas has not been seen or heard from since about 6pm Saturday night (12 July 2025), and was last seen at the Canberra Airport walking towards Brindabella Business Park.

He is described as Pakistani in appearance, about 185 cm (6’1”) tall, with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing dark clothing.

Police have located Waqas’ vehicle in a carpark at the Canberra Airport however were unable to locate him.

The vehicle is described as a green BYD Atto 3 bearing ACT registration YQC77M.

Police and Waqas’ family hold concerns for his welfare, and are requesting the public’s assistance to locate him.
