ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage of a silver Ford Falcon that conducted a burnout then collided with a parked car on Bunda Street earlier this month.
About 9.40pm on Thursday, 2 January 2025, a silver Ford Falcon ute was driving southbound on Mort Street, City, before turning onto Bunda Street.
The driver of the Ford proceeded to conduct a burnout, losing traction of its front wheels. On gaining traction, the vehicle accelerated and collided with a parked car – a grey Ford Falcon.
The grey Ford Falcon sustained significant panel damage as a result of the collision, however the driver of the silver Ford drove off immediately without stopping to exchange details.
Police are looking to identify the registration of the silver Ford Falcon and would like to speak with the driver.
