UPDATE Police seeking witnesses to assault in Dickson CHARGED

UPDATE: A 28-year-old woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning following an alleged assault that occurred at the Dickson shopping precinct last week.

She has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and breaching a good behaviour order.

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an alleged assault that occurred in Dickson last week.

Between 9.15am and 10am on Wednesday, 22 January 2025, an elderly woman attended the Dickson shopping precinct where she was allegedly assaulted by another woman.

Police allege the woman charged at the victim and knocked her to the ground, with the victim sustaining injuries to her arm.

The alleged incident took place between Woolworths and the Dickson Library.

The woman is described as being approximately 173cm (5’8”), with dark hair, a solid build, and was wearing black clothing at the time of the incident.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
