ACT Policing is seeking to identify a male who allegedly robbed a teenager on a bus late last year.
About 6pm on Friday, 22 November 2024, the male – who was wearing a black hat and mirrored sunglasses – approached a teenager at the Woden Bus Interchange where they had a short conversation, before getting onto the same bus.
A short time later, police allege the male approached the teenager who was seated on the bus and allegedly demanded their phone, threatening them with violence.
The teenager complied, and the male completed a factory reset on the phone before allowing them to exit the bus.
He is described as African in appearance, with a slim build and was wearing silver stud earrings at the time of the incident.
Police are seeking assistance from the community to identify the male.
