ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and information after four vehicles were stolen from two residences in Belconnen over the weekend.
Between 11pm on Friday night (14 February 2025) and 9.30am on Saturday morning (15 February 2025) a brown Audi Q7 bearing ACT registration BG011, and a black Mercedes-Benz C250 bearing ACT registration AYAF72G were stolen from a residence in McKellar.
In a separate incident - between 1am and 5am on Saturday morning - a grey BMW 320I bearing ACT registration AYAF28W, and a red Mazda 6 bearing ACT registration YPX37B were stolen from a residence in Bruce.
The Audi Q7 was later found by police in Ngunnawal, however the other three vehicles are yet to be located.
ACT Policing is asking the community, particularly residents in the Belconnen district, to check CCTV or dashcam footage from Saturday morning for footage of the vehicles or any people behaving suspiciously.
Canberra residents are also reminded to ensure all doors and windows are locked and car keys are secured to make it harder for thieves to steal vehicles.
Anyone with information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference number 7977315 for the Audi and Mercedes-Benz, or 7977298 for the BMW and Mazda. Information can be provided anonymously.
