ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and information regarding two stolen vehicles being driven in the Gungahlin and Belconnen areas on Thursday morning.
On Sunday, 9 February 2025, a white Audi A3 sedan with ACT registration YJU32W was stolen from a home in Nicholls.
A second vehicle – a white Mercedes-Benz GLB SUV with ACT registration YOF99P – was stolen from a home in Throsby between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Yesterday morning (Thursday, 13 February 2024) the vehicles were found by police – with the Audi being located in Giralang and the Mercedes being located in Throsby.
Police believe the same group is responsible for the two burglaries.
Residents in Giralang and Throsby are being asked by police to check CCTV or dashcam footage from yesterday morning for footage of the vehicles or any people behaving suspiciously.
