Police seeking dashcam footage to Dickson dangerous driving incident

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dashcam footage following a dangerous driving incident in the Dickson Tradies Carpark yesterday afternoon.

About 3:10pm yesterday (Monday, 22 December 2025), a woman was standing at the driver’s door of a white Ford Ranger utility vehicle bearing ACT registration YSI97E. A man known to the woman was in the driver’s seat.

The pair allegedly engaged in a verbal altercation before the woman fell to the ground and was allegedly run over by the vehicle as it exited the carpark space.

The vehicle exited the carpark at speed, mounting a curb and footpath on Poppyfield Street, before turning north onto Badham Street.

The woman was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed or has dashcam footage of the incident or vehicle to come forward.

Officers also believe the male driver of the vehicle can assist with the investigation and are urging him to contact police immediately.
